Identity Card

The Identity Card is the personal identification document that allows the holder to be identified as an Angolan Citizen and to establish their Civil Identity before any public or private authorities. The presence of the applicant is mandatory, including for minors, for the collection of biometric data.

Requirements :
First Time
  • Copy of a valid Consular Registration Card
  • Copy of the identification document of one of the Angolan parents (Identity Card)
  • Original Birth Certificate or Baptism Certificate issued until June 1, 1963
Second Time (Reissue due to expiration, poor condition, loss, correction, or annotation)
  • Valid Consular Registration Card
  • Copy of the previous Identity Card
  • In case of changes because of marriage,divorce or death, include
  • Full Copy of the Birth Certificate, with the respective annotation or Marriage / Death / Divorce Certificate issued in Angola
Criminal Record

The Criminal Record is the document used to certify the existence or absence of a criminal record. All Angolan citizens or citizens of other nationalities can apply. The applicant's presence is mandatory.

Requirements : 
Angolan Citizen
  • Copy of a valid Consular Registration Card
  • Identity Card
Foreign Citizen
  • Copy of a valid Passport
  • Identification document with parents name
  • Document proving that the person has been in Angola (Visa or Resident Card)
